Piracy risk rises in Gulf of Guinea
Posted On: Sep. 17, 2019 6:25 AM CSTA report by the International Maritime Bureau said that more than 90% of hostage-takings and 70% of all kidnappings at sea took place in the Gulf of Guinea in the first half of the year, Hellenic Shipping News Worldwide reports. The IMB Piracy Reporting Centre recorded three piracy cases at Douala anchorage during the period.
