Typhoon causes $1.3 million in damage to seafood industry

The government of Japanese prefecture Chiba said that typhoon Faxai had caused nearly $1.3 million worth of damage to the seafood industry, The Asahi Shimbun reports. The typhoon hit Chiba on Sep. 9 causing widespread damage and power outage. Many parts of Chiba, particularly in the south, continue to remain without power.
