Audi could face massive fine for illegal diesel software

Germany's motor vehicle authority could fine Audi AG €25,000 ($27,675) for each car carrying illegal software that can manipulate emissions levels, Euronews reported citing Bild am Sonntag. The company has until Sep. 26 to remove the software from thousands of diesel vehicles with V6 and V8 TDI engines.
