Hapag-Lloyd launches online marine insurance

German cargo shipping firm Hapag-Lloyd AG has launched online marine insurance, which takes effect immediately upon signing of the contract, Maritime Logistics Professional reports. Hapag-Lloyd developed Quick Cargo Insurance in cooperation with Chubb Ltd. The product is already available for exports from Germany, the Netherlands and France.
