Transport insurance for banana exports launched in Ecuador

Port management firm International Container Terminal Services Inc. has launched a transport insurance program for banana exports in Ecuador, Seatrade Maritime News reported. The global insurance program covers container handling, transport, and third-party damage for banana exports. Banana is one of the main export products of Ecuador, with more than 60% of the production being exported to the United States and the European Union.
