CMIC Group appoints COO

CMIC Group has named Michael G. Roque chief operating officer, the member-owned medical professional liability insurance company said in a statement Wednesday.

Mr. Roque was most recently vice president of business development at NORCAL Mutual Insurance Co., the statement said.

“His knowledge and experience within the MPL industry will be a tremendous asset for the company,” Stephen J. Gallant, CMIC Group CEO, said in the statement.
