Former JLT captive leader joins Hylant

Anne Marie Towle has joined brokerage Hylant Group Inc. in the newly created position of senior vice president and will lead its global captive solutions business.

Ms. Towle will lead a team that currently has about 12 employees, but is looking to add “talented individuals to grow the team,” she said.

“We’re hopefully poised for quite a bit of growth,” she said. “We’re looking forward to bringing on additional people.”

Hylant’s captive practice typically focuses on mid-market and upper-middle-market businesses, but also has Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 clients, across all industries ranging from construction to health care, said Ms. Towle, who will be based in Indianapolis and report to Richard Hylant.

Ms. Towle, the former practice leader of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group PLC’s captive management unit, resigned from Marsh LLC’s captive management business in August.

Hylant launched a group captive insurance option for middle-market businesses in September 2018.
