BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
Ironshore Environmental policyholders will be provided with an app that provides them with real-time access to claims professionals upon immediate notice of an environmental incident, the Liberty Mutual Insurance Group unit said Monday.
Ironshore said in its statement that with the IronRespnse app, risk managers can leverage tools including incident history, assistance with regulatory reporting and communication with Ironshore’s panel of environmental consultants and experts.
It said IronResponse is also equipped with sophisticated geo-location technology that can isolate the site with accuracy within three to five minutes.
Ironshore said risk managers can easily download the app, which is available on both Android and Apple smartphones, enabling the insured to push one button to report an incident.
The app activates an instantaneous connection with a call center to identify the account so an Ironshore claims manager can be reached in less than five minutes.
The app also houses a customized alert distribution list that automatically notifies the insured’s designated business partners, including insurance brokers and underwriters, according to the statement.
Ironshore Environmental said in June it is offering a comprehensive contractors environmental legal liability policy.
Ironshore Inc.’s construction industry group, in conjunction with its Ironshore Specialty Casualty unit, is offering enhanced coverage for designers and contractors, with a specialty program for contractors pollution liability.
