Swiss Re merges ILS, retro teams

Swiss Re Ltd. has merged its insurance-linked securities and retrocessional capabilities into a single unit called Alternative Capital Partners, Artemis reports. Swiss Re said that this will create a "unified center of expertise," covering all things alternative reinsurance capital, ILS and retrocession at the reinsurer.
