Hungarian insurers' gross premiums rise more than 11%

Data from the National Bank of Hungary showed that local insurers' gross written premiums rose 11% year-on-year to nearly 592 billion Hungarian Forint ($2 billion) in the first half of 2019, Xprimm reported. Nonlife premiums increased 17.5% to nearly HUF 334 billion, while the value of incurred claims grew nearly 9% to HUF 121 billion.
