Apparel firms could face supply chain risks related to forced labor

A report found that global apparel companies' and automakers' supply chains could face ethical risks related to alleged forced labor in the Chinese state of Xinjiang, Triple Pundit reported. The report by the Citizen Power Initiatives for China found that the apparel companies are at high risk of exposure to forced labor that is used to cultivate, harvest and process cotton and for garment production.
