Toyota's UK plant to stop production to mitigate Brexit risk

Toyota Motor Corp. plans to stop production at its Burnaston factory in the United Kingdom, on Nov. 1, The Guardian reports. The production halt will be in anticipation of possible disruption to parts deliveries amid growing concerns among manufacturers about a no-deal Brexit. The plant's staff will return to work on Nov. 4.
