CompWest Insurance Co. has added 18 new manufacturing class codes to its workers compensation offerings, the company announced Thursday.
The Santa Ana, California-based company, which is a member of Lansing, Michigan-based AF Group, has added more than 50 new classifications in 2019 to its workers comp offerings in construction, manufacturing and several other areas in California and the western U.S., according to a news release.
This is the sixth consecutive year the company has added new class codes. Currently, the company services workers comp accounts of up to $1.5 million in annual premium in the health care, hospitality, manufacturing, professional services, construction, retail and wholesale services industries.
Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. has partnered with tech company Duck Creek Technologies LLC to develop a new workers compensation claims platform, the company announced in a news release Monday.
