QBE North America offering employment practices consulting

QBE North America, a unit of Sydney-based QBE Insurance Group Ltd., said Thursday it is introducing the services of a complementary consulting firm to policyholders of its employment practices liability coverage, QBE Business Resource Edge.
The statement said employers will be directed to an independent firm, currently Boston-based Enquiron, with attorneys who specialize in providing preclaim advice on an unlimited basis.
The suite of services includes customized advice, training and education via a dedicated toll-free hotlink and email address as well as an online portal that includes advice and resources that address more than 50 employment law and human resources/risk management issues.
Also available are on-demand sexual harassment prevention training, a state-specific employee handbook and regulatory updates, according to the statement by New York-based QBE North America.
