Kuwait-based insurers' total profit grew nearly 25% year over year to 28.5 million Kuwaiti dinars ($94 million) in the first half of this year, Middle East Insurance Review reported citing sources. Gulf Insurance Group K.S.C.P.'s profits grew more than 23% to KWD 8 million. Mohammed Siddiqui, a financial analyst, said that most Kuwaiti insurers are likely to face solvency-related challenges this year.
