Climate risks push up insurance premiums for coal miner

South Africa-based coal miner Exxaro Resources Ltd. is facing higher insurance premiums at renewals due in part to increasing climate-related risks, Mining Weekly reported. Mxolisi Mgojo, chief executive of Exxaro, said that the company would need to make definite and structural changes to its business model to mitigate climate risks.
