Industry jitters as foreign insurers reduce coverage of coal assets

Indian coal industry executives said that foreign insurers are reducing their coverage of coal assets and private firms could face challenges in buying insurance for their equipment, The Economic Times reported. Foreign insurers are reluctant to write coal-related business due to global warming and climate change risks, the executives added.
