Quarter of UK small businesses would shutter if key person died

A survey by U.K.-based financial services firm Legal & General Group PLC found that more than 25% of small businesses in the country would shut down immediately if a key person died or became critically ill, Continuity Central reported. Another 26% said that they would cease trading within a year in such circumstances.
