Kazakh insurers' profit falls 20%

Kazakhstan-based insurers' profit declined 20% year over year to 35.5 billion Kazakhstani tenge ($91.5 million) in the first half of this year, Xprimm.com reports citing sources. Insurers also increased their premium retention rate to 82% and retained KZT 209 billion out of KZT 255 billion worth of premiums.
