Tech firm, claims data manager partner on file conversion

Ventiv Technology Inc. has partnered with Aerie EDI Group LLC to provide Ventiv customers access to the Aerie data transformer data translation service, the company announced Wednesday.
Atlanta-based Ventiv, an insurance and claims software solutions company, said in a news release that the partnership with Chase City, Virginia-based Aerie will allow its claims clients to meet state-mandated workers compensation electronic data interchange requirements via the company’s data transformer.
A number of states require first report of injury and subsequent report of injury in XML formats, and through the use of the data transformer from Aerie, which provides software solutions and consulting for the workers compensation industry, Ventiv’s claims customers will be able to meet those requirements with minimal disruption to their existing state-reporting workflows and provide a seamless process for the additional conversion of flat-file-formatted data files into XML, said the company.
