Floods inundated aluminum company China Hongqiao Group Ltd.'s plants in the province of Shandong after typhoon Lekima struck the region on Aug. 10, Reuters reported citing sources. The aluminum producer said that a subsidiary in Weiqiao had suspend production to protect its smelting facilities. The disaster has also disrupted logistics for some smelters in the province, the sources said.
