Singapore introduces cyber security rules for financial firms

The Monetary Authority of Singapore has introduced a set of mandatory requirements for financial firms including insurance brokers to mitigate cyber risk, Asia Insurance Review reported. Under the rules, financial firms will have to set up security for IT systems and strengthen user authentication for critical systems among other measures.
