Wildfires in Siberia started on purpose, says General Prosecutor

The General Prosecutor of Siberia said that it has identified cases in which forest fires in the Irkutsk region had been started on purpose to hide illegal wood felling, DW.com reported citing media sources. Dutch environmental organization Greenpeace said that the fires covered 4.3 million hectares of land.
