Captive manager offers reinsurance pool

Captive manager CICS Services LLC in Knoxville, Tennessee, launched a reinsurance pool earlier this week for small and midsize businesses with captives.
Accessible to CICS clients, Knox Reinsurance Co. Inc., which is domiciled in North Carolina, provides reinsurance pooling for businesses with a minimum total annual premium of $250,000, CICS said in a statement.
“Knox Re is open to insureds from almost all industries and trade classes,” the statement said.
