Singapore proposes extending mandatory workplace injury cover

Singapore's Ministry of Manpower has proposed extending mandatory work injury insurance for non-manual employees and hike compensation limits by at least 10%, Channel News Asia reported. Under the proposal, the ministry will set up a licensing framework to designate insurers to cover work-related injuries.
