Allianz's second quarter profit climbs 13% to $2.3 billion

Germany-based insurer Allianz S.E.'s net profit grew more than 13% year over year to €2 billion ($2.3 billion) in the second quarter of this year, Menafn.com reported. Total revenue grew more than 6% percent to €33 billion while the property/casualty unit's sales increased 7%.
