Drought's damage tab likely to total $325 million in Thailand

A survey found that drought has affected about 1,330 square kilometers of farmland in Thailand, causing an estimated 10 billion Thai baht ($325 million) worth of damage so far this year, Pattaya Mail reported. Thailand's disaster prevention and mitigation agency said that the drought could cause up to THB 18 billion worth of damage if the crisis continues for another month.
