Retail sales to decline in double digits in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Retail Management Association has said that its members expect a double-digit drop in sales in July and August amid increasingly violent protests in the city, Reuters reported. Angela Cheng, economist at Hong Kong-based financial advisory services provider CMB International Capital Corp. Ltd., expects retail sales to decline by up to 10% this year.
