Oil spill occurs in Chilean biodiversity hotspot

Chile-based miner Cap S.A. said that 40,000 liters of diesel oil have spilled from its terminal on Guarello Island into the South Pacific Ocean off Patagonia, Ecowatch reported citing sources. Patagonia is a biodiversity hotspot situated at the southern tip of the South American coast.
