Heavy rains hit Manchester, floods inundate roads

Heavy rains and floods struck northwestern England on July 27 and July 28, inundating several roads in Manchester, Express.co.uk reported. Authorities have closed the A555 relief road near Manchester Airport due to severe floods. The authorities have also issued flood warnings for Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham, Oxford, Bath Cardiff and Plymouth.
