UK insurers call for access to EU reinsurance market

The London Market Group said that Britain should seek "equivalence" based access to the European Union's reinsurance market after Brexit, Euronews reports citing Reuters. Existing equivalence tests should be strengthened and their scope extended, as current arrangements could make it more difficult for U.K. and EU-based brokers to operate in one another's jurisdiction, the group added.
