Firms urged to manage cyber, catastrophe threats

A report by U.S.-based consultancy firm Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. urged businesses in the Gulf Cooperation Council region to set up risk management strategies to mitigate threats related to cyber security and natural disasters, Zawya reported. The report found that organizations in the region take 260 days to contain a data breach compared with just 138 days in Europe, despite the firms spending $3.5 million on average per year to mitigate cyber risks.
