Insurers refuse to cover cargo trucks amid rise in looting

Palesa Phili, chief executive of the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that South African insurers are refusing to cover cargo trucks due to a rise in looting and violence along several highways, IOL.co.za reported. Ms. Phili said that shippers are facing extra costs related to security measures such as hiring armed security escorts.
