Extreme weather's damage tab totals $2 billion in Europe: Aon

Aon PLC said that extreme weather caused $2 billion worth of economic damage and an estimated $1.3 billion in insured losses across Europe in June, Novinite reported citing sources. The insurance broker said that hailstorms caused $830 million in insured losses while bad weather caused $560 million in losses in southwest France, Switzerland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria.
