Leisure insurer stops offering cover, firms risk closure

Thousands of Irish leisure-related businesses risk facing closure after one of the last insurers covering the leisure sector decided to stop offering insurance, Independent.ie reported. Keith Gill, an official at insurance broker First Ireland, said in that in the last three years around 10 British insurers have pulled out of this of covering venues like bouncy castle operators, soccer clinics and play centers.
