Inward reinsurance premiums rise 22% in Russia

Inward reinsurance premiums in Russia grew 22% year over year to nearly 15 billion Russian rubles ($238 million) while outward reinsurance premiums inched up 4% to RUB 43.5 billion in the first quarter, Xprimm.com reported. Premiums from international market grew 31% including risks from France, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Venezuela among other countries.
