Bermuda-based captive manager Artex Risk Solutions Inc. promoted two senior executives to new roles on Wednesday.
Stephen Thompsett, who joined Artex in 2018 as chief information officer, was named to the newly created position of chief operating officer, and Brandon Marshall, who joined as finance director in 2017, was named chief financial officer.
Mr. Marshall succeeds Mike Burchill, who moved to be vice president of corporate finance at parent Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. earlier this year.
Mr. Thompsett is based in London and Mr. Marshall is based in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
Artex is the world’s third largest captive manager, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking.
Artex Risk Solutions, the Bermuda-based insurance management unit of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., has announced the acquisition of Guernsey-domiciled Hexagon Insurance PCC Ltd. in a move to build its insurance-linked securities management capabilities, reported Artemis.bm.
