Uptake of catastrophe insurance rises in Turkey

Catastrophe insurance premium growth exceeded 20% in Turkey in the first five months of this year driven by recent heavy storm-related losses, Middle East Insurance Review found. Research by the Insurance Association of Turkey found that storms accounted for half of all extreme weather events followed by floods and hail.
