Aon names intellectual property executive

Aon PLC named Joshua Walker to be chief product officer for the firm’s intellectual property division, the broker said in a statement Wednesday.

Mr. Walker, based in San Francisco, will report to Lewis Lee, CEO of intellectual property solutions, according to a spokesman’s email to Business Insurance.

Prior to joining Aon, he was CEO of Aleph Legal, which provides legal, artificial intelligence, IP, data and related support counseling for enterprise, in house counsel and law firms. 

“Joshua’s wide-ranging experience, from building a business from the ground up to the realities of data’s impact in the courtroom, will be pivotal as we continue to change the conversation around intangible assets,” John Bruno, CEO of Aon’s data and analytic services, said in the statement.
