Quake forces nickel miners to suspend shipments

A 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia's Maluku Islands on July 14, forcing nickel miners to suspend shipments, Shanghai Metals Market reported. Nickel ore shipments from mines in Obi islands and Weda Bay in eastern Indonesia are likely to begin again in several days if the quake has not caused any infrastructural damage.
