World Bank, Pacific Alliance mull issuing second cat bond

The World Bank Group and the Pacific Alliance trading bloc are considering issuing a second catastrophe bond to cover extreme weather events in Latin America, LatinFinance reported. The alliance's members – Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru – are jointly evaluating financial mechanisms to cover hydro-meteorological events.
