North Korea offers insurance to foreign investors

North Korea is allowing insurers and an insurance broker to cover foreign investments in the country, Global Times reported citing sources. The country set up Rainbow Intermediaries in May 2015 to offer insurance and reinsurance brokerage services and Polestar Insurance Co. Samhae Insurance Co. and Future Re Co. between 2016 and 2017 after developing economic and trade zones.
