Ed Broking names Bermuda property head

Carrie Kelley has joined reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker Ed Broking Group Ltd. as executive vice president and head of property insurance, Bermuda, the brokerage said Tuesday.

In the newly created position, she will be based in Pembroke, Bermuda, and report to Chris Bonard, CEO of Ed Broking’s Bermuda platform, Ed said in a statement.

Ms. Kelley was most recently with Barbican Underwriting Bermuda, where she was a property underwriter.

“She has an excellent track record working with complex multinational accounts from the North American Fortune 1000 and was instrumental in the development of a middle market book of business new to the island,” Mr. Bonard said in the statement.

Ed Broking received regulatory approval for its Bermuda operation last month.
