Textile firms sign agreement to prevent supply chain malpractices

Pierre Hupperts, a Dutch official, said that 89 textile brands have signed the sustainable clothing and textile agreement to prevent abuses such as exploitation, animal suffering or environmental damage related to their supply chains, Ad.nl reported. Mr. Hupperts said that fifty textile brands currently report abuses in clothing factories in their supply chains.
