Natural gas shortage likely to hit factory operations

Experts said that a shortage of natural gas in Mexico could halt industrial production and force some factories to shut down, Mexico News Daily reported. Francisco Cervantes, president of the Mexico's industrial confederation and Enoch Castellanos, chief of the industrial transformation chamber, said that several companies in the north, west and southeast of the country are operating at 30% capacity.
