BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Trident Marine Managers Inc., a Houston-based specialty marine and offshore energy insurer and a part of Ryan Specialty Group LLC, on Monday announced an initiative to provide workers compensation through Signal Mutual Indemnity Association Ltd., a provider of Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act benefits, in collaboration with Charles Taylor Management Services.

TMM will now offer Signal Mutual’s SafeShore Longshore workers compensation program to waterfront employers based in Texas and Louisiana, according to a statement.

The SafeShore Longshore workers compensation program, launched in 2014, is backed by Signal Mutual, and provides protection from uninsured subcontractors and workers compensation cover to smaller waterfront employers with limited exposures, according to the statement.

“To have the backing of Signal in this space is outstanding, and we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship for both parties,” Martin Hayes, managing director of Trident Marine Managers, said in the statement.
