Canadian meat producers face huge losses after Chinese ban

Chris White, president of the Canadian Meat Council, said that local meat producers are likely to face a huge financial loss following China's sudden ban on Canadian beef and pork products, Global News reported. Canada exported pork worth more than $514 million Canada ($392.5 million) and beef worth CAD 97 million to China in 2018.
