Caribbean insurance facility eyes expansion in Central America
Posted On: Jun. 27, 2019 6:33 AM CSTCayman Islands-based Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility S.P.C. plans to expand its operations in Central America and offer new products to cover drought, fisheries, agriculture and public utilities this year, Artemis.bm reports. The insurance facility's risk pool grew to $964 million as of May 31, up 14% from $844 million at the same time in 2018.
