Businesses using software components with known security risk
Posted On: Jun. 26, 2019 6:20 AM CSTA report by U.S.-based tech firm Sonatype Inc. found that U.K.-based firms downloaded 21,000 or about one in 10 open source software components on average with a known security flaw in 2018, Software Testing News reported. The report found that about 30% of the components pose a serious cyber risk.
