Insurer mulls ending gambling, arms, nuclear power coverage

Dutch insurer ASR Nederland N.V. is considering denying coverage to gambling companies, nuclear-power generators and armaments producers along with coal miners, Bloomberg reported. Jos Baeten, chief executive of ASR Nederland, said that the proposed ban would apply to new policies and the insurer will continue to cover all of its existing contracts.
